There is no doubt that laughter is a good remedy for both mind and body.

Most people know that weak health affects our mood. But often we forget that a negative focus also can affect our health. A headache can arise from tension caused from anger, frustration, and stress.

In this acknowledgement we should not forget laughter when in contact with the patients.

In a case of illness laughter not only relieves pain but it can also help bring the patient in mental balance which will have a positive effect on the treatment.

Martin Erichsen reminded us all that laughter can also be a proactive way to work with a patient's mental and physical health. Going through the exercises and feeling the real laughter was a true pleasure.

For those working within and outside the hospital service I can recommend Martin. He will give you an important reminder of how powerful laughing really is.
