Tuesday 8 March 2005 and I am still SO high after spending last night with a crowd of other "idiots" in Hall D here in Copenhagen. It's just SO wild and cool being in my shoes today. I make a living myself from getting people into the "red" zone selling themselves as best they can and I that's where I find my best talents as a person and salesman. I have travelled around the world in my job for the UN and up until now, I have had the most fantastic life and done EVERYTHING to challenge life and get "kicks". I have been parachuting, bungee jumping, rappelling down wild cliffs etc. BUT FIREWALKING WAS JUST INCREDIBLE! Two minutes before I was due to walk, I told my friends that I couldn't do it and was going to drop out!!!! But then it was my turn...... What the heck, I was just SO damned good and deserved it THAT much..........
Had, as a sober alcoholic, decided my goal was to be able to firewalk. Because then I could also set myself the goal of never touching another drink in my life, and as I walked on fire, then I guess my goal today is SOMEWHAT easier!!!! YEEEEEEES. We were just SO cool.
Thank you for a fantastic evening. I am deeply touched and VERY happy.
